KoCoS Introduces the new INDEC VD 400 DUD Detection System

KoCoS presents the INDEC VD 400, a new system for inline DUD Detection of containers during the food production process, including bottles, jars, and cans.

New Measuring Method for Every Application
The main feature of the INDEC VD 400 is an improved measuring method that enables reliable testing of lids – regardless of material, color, or surface texture. The new laser sensor minimizes the steps involved in recipe setting, enabling format changes with minimal effort and in the shortest possible time.
The system can be individually expanded with suitable accessories, such as a flexible fan nozzle for water removal, and adapted to different production environments.

Optimized Design and Easy Operation
The sensor head mounting and belt holder have also been redesigned. The new design focuses on FDA (Food and Drug Administration) compliance and ease of use.

User-Friendly Software
The new PC application for the INDEC VD 400 combines user-friendly operation with powerful analysis. It displays measurement data in real time, enables central control of all tests, and offers clearly structured statistics and remote monitoring, making it an effective tool for quality assurance and process improvement.
